I've used HPL for tatting & of course, you only need short strips & it's in thread instead of yarn so it's unlikely I would need to take any off. I thought it was confusing that she had a piece already made as she started another, making it hard to see, but I see what she was getting at now. I also think it would have been easier to comprehend if the camera had been coming over her shoulder, but it's still helpful. All my looms are old-fashioned and I hadn't heard of using a thread on each leg to slide the finished work onto. Great idea though! I guess I've used safety pins since they were just short strips.
