I used DMC coton perle No. 8, col 959 for spokes
and col 725 for petals, 2nd circle.
Introduction to Nanduti class - thru The Lace Museum, Virtual Education. Dawn Lovig is the instructor.
This is my version of KAP'I UNA (2nd circle). Homework: I need to
add spokes on another circle for the 3rd session. The large one -- smallest one is for a flower (I think).
Did I make mention there is another class?
WOW! This is Nanduti 1, two projects -
the next class of 4 sessions.
AND - I'm using Sullivan's needles for
the needle weaving. I was not very successful using the 2.5" pointy one ( I used to lace the frame) for the spokes. Using Bohin Chenille needles when I need to pierce the fabric (for spokes) or hidamari Sashiko needles.
