The L.A.C.E. Lacemakers and Collectors Exchange Guild

will be at the DuPage County Fair, Home Ec Building

held at the fairgrounds in Wheaton, Illinois. USA

President, Malinda, says L.A.C.E. members will staff a booth in the Home Ec building (which is air conditioned)

Thursday through Sunday, July 25-28, 2024 from noon to 5 PM.

So stop by and see what is on their pillows

International Tatting Day

April 1st is the International Tatting Day. 

Tatting is the skill of making delicate, elegant, tatted lace. 

It is enjoyed by thousands of people. 

On this day, "tatters" around the world have different activities, mostly educational, to celebrate their hobby, and introduce it to others.

I used Lizbeth Size 20, off white +

Marilee Rockley's HDT.

I remember having a subscription to this magazine [no longer published, I think PieceWork bought it] and when this issue arrived in my P O Box, I wanted to tat.   Had no idea how to tat.   Just wanted to learn.    There is a 2nd pattern in the magazine, maybe I'll try that one, too.
