Making progress, 1/4 to go.   With a couple minor mistakes.

 I probably should have used the smaller pattern with size 80 Lizbeth.

This pattern (once finished) will be apx 5" accross.

 Spent some time trying to organize.  Seemed it was taking me too long to "find" things!    Fun to come accross projects in the works --

 

Got carried away and put my sharp needles together, and my blunt needles together, and my special needles together.   Then, went to my pins.   Not sure how long they will remain organized.

   

Bobbin Lace ...

 I spent

some time winding bobbins.   These are for the June Lace Program of the 

Lafayette Lacemakers.

They meet every month at the Arts Federation in Lafayette, IN.

The June 8th program uses a few bobbins and size 20 Lizbeth fiber.

Usually, I wait until the LAST MINUTE to get ready; however,

thought I'd get them wound today.

This is the project I've had on the

lace pillow for awhile.  Purchased the pattern directly from Karen Thompson.

 I've been creating other things and

set it aside.   Time to 'practice' before next Saturday!  

I keep a small

piece (heart) from the L.A.C.E. Chapter - kind of a quick reference.

I should make a copy as I'd be lost without it!

I"m using Lizbeth, size 20 fiber.  Color 623.

 As for tatted icicles, I have them hanging off of my shelves.   I think they'd also look nice in the window.    Or a holiday tree ornament.  The bobbin lace ornament will have wire - to give it a twist.   Should be pretty with the 2.5mm bicone crystal beads.  Stay tuned - hope to have the lace project done shortly after the meeting in June.

Not without a couple mistakes, one pattern I intend to try again.

As for the circular bobbin lace - which I want to make a pincushion out of ... I think this will be the center:

 This will be the lace around the pincushion.  I'm not sure if the color of the bird will be ok.   If not, I"ll re-stitch the bird with a better-matching DMC floss.

What's going on? Asked my GF

Well, I've just about completed a project from one of my zoom classes.  This one was in November of 2021.  And probably my favourite of all the bobbin lace I've done.   I saw a photograph in the 12-hour beginner bobbin class, and said -- "this is what I want to do"   "exactly THIS".   And, I've enjoyed every part of it.   Have a little ways to go.   

Perle Coton #5 Color 3688.  Perle Coton #8 Color 225.  Pattern is called "Everything but"  ... the kitchen sink.   cKaren H. Thompson, 2021.

Also, this (purchased) circular shape pattern.   About 1/4 done.
