Colors 541 - yellow
254 - green

Second session - wow!
An inspiration.   A gallery of Bulgarian creative lace.
Learned a couple new ways to start.
Once the video is available I'll go thru it slower and figure out the 'round' flower shape.   Plus, creating shapes ie oak leaves.   Blue fiber is Olympus Crochet Cotton No. 40, 383.  Also, Olympus Tatting lace yarn (Medium), T207.

Nice that the videos are available.

Pieces back from the last congress in Bulgaria.  OIDFA National Stand: USA "My Lace Connections - Around the World" art project / display.  Stunning displays from participating countries -- wanna peek:

Creating the knotted lace basic techniques is important.   Once confident, can improvise.

I was on the waiting list for The Discovery of Needlelace in Alencon, instructor Charlene Poret, France.  Those sessions will be in September and October (via zoom)

Needle lace: Update on the Monarch Butterfly:

Monarch Butterfly Kit & Pattern:

3-session Class thru

I'm still couching some of the orange -- couch the outline, then fill in the section(s).   This is something I take breaks while creating.   Size 80 fiber (tatting thread).  Already stressing about "do I have enough fiber?".

 (close-up)

I purchased her book and admire the butterfly and flower projects inside.

Trying Again: Daisy Wheel Ornament

I'm at our middle son's home.    This is Apollo.   He has internet --

Daisy Wheel Ornament.  I am viewing the video of the class session, using Elisa, 10, #8197 - Elisa thread info LINK.
some progress:

I have a kit - which I will attempt after I figure out what I'm doing.   Not sure why this NL in the round is confusing to me.   The instructions are perfect, the teaching is perfect, must be ME.

Kit, Pattern + Instructions:  c.2025 Loretta Holzberger

Sessions thru Virtual Education,
The Lace Museum.

Apollo thinks watching the outdoors is more fun than watching me.

Carrot thinks my tote bags are great fun.

KiWi watchful of my fibers ---
