Gros point de Venise Class

 Not much
accomplished during today's needle lace zoom!!
I started the sampler (photo on right of finished piece)
and will complete it in four sessions.  Next session will be the next three rectangles. (filling)

I am using Lizbeth, Size 20, Col. 601 for the outline --
 DMC 80, Col. 5200 for the filling(s).

Gros Point de Venise Class 2025.
Pattern + Instructions:  Loretta Holzberger

Sessions thru Virtual Education,
The Lace Museum.

I really should have used a different color paper/card stock for the pattern!!!    Challenge to use white fiber on white pattern.

Preparing for bobbin lace Rose for Kalofer session on Thursday.   Prep for needlelace and bobbin lace is time consuming.  Stay tuned.   The bobbin lace flowers/rose are part of a community lace project for the 2025   OIDFA Congress in Kalofer and Karlovo, Bulgaria.  Also, https://lacechallenge.internationalorganizationoflace.org/lace-challenge/lace-challenge-11 Lace Challenge #11 for I.O.L.I.
I am grateful to Joan Brash for her pattern and sessions thru the Lace Museum.  I'd like to finish the sunflower this summer, too.
