Tatting: Lace Samples

 More lace samples.

I use a couple basic patterns -- (lower part of the photo - I just draw them out & see how they look).  And basic patterns from this book, from the Palmetto Tatters group.  Jennifer Wiliams has a nice patern, Ring of Tatters site -- on https://www.ringoftatters.org.uk/patterns/simple_butterfly.html.

I was creating some tatted butterflys during a recent Demonstration.   I was attaching them to my pincushion while tatting.  (right side of the photo).   A good way to use of fiber bits on shuttles & once empty, can load them for the next motif/project.

A few more shuttles to empty.   Lace Samples for the Lafayette Lacemakers.

Easy tatted edges for demos ....

This is a basic clover tatted edge, using Lizbeth size 20 / Elisa size 10.

It is a pattern I use when demonstrating tatting [ rings and chains ] .... I sort of made it up.

Other basic patterns can be found

I may be doing some demos in 2026 for tatting thru the L.A.C.E. Chapter and the Lafayette Lacemaker's Chapter of the International Organization of Lace. Will post days/times when confirmed.
