Tatting: Swirls - A Tatting Project (a finish)

Front & Back -- with
thread ends woven in.
I didn't use glue for the center.

Swirls
Pattern & instruction by Meenal Palashikar,
via The Lace Museum, virtual education.

I used Lizbeth Size 10.
Colors 672 & 622.

Now hanging up on my sewing machine cover - with an older piece I really should finish one day!!!   Drawn Thread Sampler #1     by Jonalene T. Gutwein thru EGA  I did the drawn work and still have cross stitch borders to fill in (cross stitch!).

Tatting: Swirls - A Tatting Project

Swirls
Pattern & instruction by Meenal Palashikar,
via The Lace Museum, virtual education.

I used Lizbeth Size 10.
Colors 672 & 622.

 Pattern page w/first small piece
I used during class!  (Col. 650 + 627).

This pattern is inspired by Dora Young's Pinwheel
pattern from All New Knotless Tatting Designs.

During the session, we started a second piece (Left).  I used size 10 fiber and larger picots - will try this again with different size fiber and smaller picots.   I still need to sew in the ends.

This is the back - the pattern uses front side/back side tatting + to use 'down' joins.  I didn't try that (this time).
