We have an alien! Is this the coolest E.T. you ever tatted? During the entire tatting game, I had a few ideas what we would be creating --- but an Alien!!! Love it Jane : ) I used a blue fiber - I think it looks 'space - ish'. Oh -- and MINUS the Catherine Wheel Joins. That I could use more practice with -- I used lock joins. [for non-tatting, the Catherine Wheel creates a smoother tatted line]. And, sigh, need to (im)patiently wait for next year's game .... Thank you Jane Eborall for hosting. Was a BLAST to tat.
I am tatted the alien with Lizbeth, Size 20, Color 651
Pattern: TIAS (Tat It and See 2023), c.Jane Eborall
The International Tatting Game is hosted ( annually, fingers crossed - if she has enough participants )
by Jane Eborall. Links below.
Please visit the blogs to view all of the tatted Aliens - I'm gobsmacked by the variety of colors the tatters used.

This was my 'practice piece'. I think this alien looks really unusual with the color fiber I was using.
I started a practice piece when I was practicing Catherine Wheel joins vs. Lock joins.
Previous Post , link HERE. While I did get the hang of Catherine Wheel joins - it was just taking a huge amount of time for me to make them. I looked at instructions and videos. Which makes it look so easy. Maybe with more practice!!! [Plus, sew in the ends].
